All possible measures are being taken to stop ragging on campus. If someone is found guilty of encouraging ragging, encouraging ragging either actively or passively, or participating in a conspiracy to encourage ragging, they will be subject to penalties under the current penal code as well as the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009. The management of Don Bosco College established an anti-ragging committee in accordance with UGC regulations, with the goal of completely eliminating ragging within the college. As of right now, the campus is ragging-free, and no instances of ragging have been documented since the school's founding.

It is recommended that students report incidents of bullying to the principal, whether they occur in the residence hall or on the college campus. The Anti-Ragging Committee is in charge of handling any reported cases of ragging and conducting an open, honest investigation while providing the offending student or students with a fair trial.

Displaying boisterous, disorderly behaviour, taunting, exaggerating, or handling situations in an unpleasant or harsh way, as well as boisterous, unruly behaviours that irritate, burden, injure someone physically or psychologically, or incite fear in a new student, or requiring students to perform acts or tasks that they would not normally complete in a regular course and that would put them in danger, shame, or embarrassment, etc.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of Departments/ Hostels/Centers and any part of Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, Keela Eral.

• Ragging is a crime under Tamilnadu Anti – Ragging Act 1997.
• Ragging is also Governed by a set of Supreme Court guidelines.
• Punishment for Ragging is two years Imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1000.
