• Department of English organised a National Seminar on Indian Writing in English in the Post Independent Era on19th February 2020. Dr. U.Fathima Farzana,Assistant Professor in English,Sri Ramasamy Naidu Memorial College, Sattur was invited as the resource person. More than 150 papers were presented in the seminar.

• The Department of  Computer Applications,  Don Bosco College  of arts and Science, Keela Eral, Tuticorin, organized a National Seminar entitled “ Emerging Trends & Future Computing Technologies” on 25  February 2019.The first session began with the keynote address by Prof.  Kevinson Kurian, Associate  Professor & Head, Department of MCA, Don Bosco College, Angadikadavu, Kannur, Kerala, on the topic “Agile Software Development”.  The Second session started with an invited talk by Dr. K. Balasuramanian, Department of Computer Applications, PSNA College of Engineering & Technology, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu,on the topic “Advanced Programming Using MatLab in Research Perspective.” The afternoon session was started with the invited talk by Fr. Joseph Charles, Research Scholar, Gandhigram Rural Institute, (Deemed to be University), Dindigul, titled “Research Scope in IoT.”  
• The Department of Computer Applications organized a webinar “Machine Learning Techniques” on 19th June 2020 at 11.00 AM through Zoom platform with YouTube Live streaming facilities. Dr. H.Hannah Inbarani, Assistant Professor, Periyar University, Salem was the resource person for the webinar.
• The Department of Computer Applications organized a National Level Webinar “Learning Management Systems Using Canvas Instructure” on 25th June 2020 at 9.45 AM through Zoom platform with YouTube Live streaming facilities. Dr. A. Ranichitra, Assistant Professor, SRNM College, Sattur was the resource person for the webinar.

• The Department of Mathematics have organized a one day webinar on “GRAPHS IN LIFE” on 29.05.2020 at 11.00 am through zoom meet app and via YouTube Live streaming.           Dr. G. Maha Devan M.Sc., M.Phil., M.Tech., Ph.D., Department of Mathematics, Gandhigram Rural Institute - Deemed to be University, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, Gandhigram, Dindigul District  was invited as resource person.

• The Department of Mathematics have organized a one day webinar on “GRAPHS EMBEDDING” on 16.06.2020 at 11.00 am through zoom meet app and via YouTube Live streaming. Dr. T. Asir M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Madurai Kamaraj University DE, Madurai District  was invited as resource person.

• The Department of Mathematics have organized a one day webinar on “Soft_computing by soft sets” on 10.07.2020 at 11.00 am through Google meet app and via YouTube Live streaming. Dr. M. Gilbert Rani M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., Department of Mathematics, Arulanandhar College(Autonomous), Madurai  was invited as resource person.

• Bosco Business Apex Association inauguration for the academic year 2019-2020 held on 19th July 2019.Dr.S.Pious Missier Principal Don Bosco College of Arts & Science Keel Eral delivered Presidential Address. Office Bearers as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary of our Association were appointed. Mrs. Shivani Ragupathy Managing Partner of Bitstep Training Academy conducted seminar on the topic “Entrepreneurial Skills”.

• The Department of Business Administration was conducted the “Emotional Maturity through Neuro – Linguistic Programme” on 04.10.2019 at Auditorium Hall of Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, Keela-Eral.Dr. Deepa Azhakeswari Shri. Nazeer Hussain and Shri. Sathishkumar have provided the training on NLP such as brainstorming and seed revenge therapy for curing the bad vibration and strength the good vibration in the body.
